For Non-profits - United Way of Northeastern South Dakota

The United Way of Northeastern South Dakota (UWNESD) is now accepting applications for the 2023-25 funding cycle.

Minimum requirements for funding include:

An agency shall have been organized and delivering services to northeastern South Dakota residents for a minimum of two years.
The agency shall have been incorporated as a not-for-profit and be designated IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt.
Cooperate in the continuation and development of programs designed to meet the human care needs of northeastern South Dakota.
The agency will provide a copy of their Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and other documents pertaining to the organization.
Agencies will adhere to the Equity and Ethics Statements of the United Way of Northeastern South Dakota.
Communicate with United Way and the community about its programs and services.
Engage in an effective public relation outreach and to cooperate with the United Way in its public information programs.
The ability to cooperate with other agencies and coordinate services to best meet the needs of the community.

The deadline for applications is March 17, 2023, at 5:00 PM Central time.
