Member Agency Application
The United Way of Northeastern South Dakota (UWNESD) is now accepting applications for the 2025-27 funding cycle.
Minimum requirements for funding include:
- The agency must have been established and providing services to residents of northeastern South Dakota for at least two years.
- The agency must be incorporated as a nonprofit organization and hold a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS.
- Cooperate in the continuation and development of programs designed to meet the human care needs of northeastern South Dakota.
- Agencies will provide a copy of their Articles of Incorporation, bylaws and other documents pertaining to the organization.
- Agencies will adhere to the Equity and Ethics Statements of the United Way of Northeastern South Dakota.
- Communicate with United Way and the community about its programs and services.
- Engage in effective public relation outreach and cooperate with the United Way in its initiatives and programs.
- The ability to cooperate with other agencies and coordinate services to best meet the needs of the community.
